From the Ferries, Tower Road parallel with Bisazza street head north across the Tigne peninsula, emerging on the northeast coast at Ghar Id-Dud, the starting point for a promenade that goes all the way west to St Julian's.

Nowhere in Malta is the strolling along the seaside promenades more popular than here. In the evening hundreds of people locals and foreigners go along to savour the silky summer evenings chat with friends and pause for some Imqaret(deep-fried date pastries)and a drink.
