The School.
The Burlington Academy is located in the heart of St. Julians, only two minutes walk away from the sea, and in very close proximity to some of Malta’s leading 5 Star hotels, as well as other high quality 3 and 4 Star hotels.
The school offers a high standard of teaching within a high quality environment. Our teachers and staff are well qualified, motivated and enthusiastic, whilst the classrooms, which are all on one level, are large and finished to high standards with carpeting and air-conditioning.
All the necessary audio-visual equipment required for language schools are readily available.
The school also incorporates a Cafeteria and Internet Café.
COURSES
The school offers standard courses at different levels but we are also sensitive to our clients’ needs, hence our flexibility. We will be more than happy to discuss and formulate courses to suit your specific requirements.
Courses on offer: General English, Mini Groups, Intensive, Business English, Private Tuition, Semi-Private Tuition, English with Culture, English with Diving, English with other sport, English with Tourism and Marketing, and English combined with basic Hospitality Training.
Accommodation.
Apart from hotel accommodation, the school also offers self catering apartments and ‘Host Family’ accommodation, many of which are within walking distance of the school.
Why Malta?
The archipelago of Malta is situated in the centre of the Mediterranean, surrounded by beautiful clean sea. The climate is very mild, whilst the people of Malta are renowned for their hospitality. Malta has a very rich history that goes back some 6000 years - proof of this are the Bronze Age temples you can still see today.
Malta also has very strong ties with the English Language going back to the year 1800 when the archipelago became a British protectorate. The majority of Maltese readily speak English, and together with Maltese, English is an official language of the country
