Sunday Writings
Though Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl has its official newsletter, L-ARKA (The Ark), it has always considered it important to prepare regular columns in Malta's major Maltese-language weeklies. To begin with, Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl's own newsletter can never remotely aspire of reaching the circulation these papers have. Secondly, it has always seemed to be of the utmost importance that Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl's views be spread through means other than its own. In this way, a readership over a very wide media-spectrum can be exposed to ideas that are not normally publicized by the press.

It-Torca

The Sunday weekly with the greatest circulation in Malta is it-Torca (pronounced it torcha), which is the official paper of the General Workers' Union, Malta's largest union. It is also considered, however, the unofficial paper of the Malta Labour Party.

Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl has had a regular column in this paper, specifically for prison matters, since February 1998.

The Sunday weekly with the second largest circulation in Malta is Il-Mument, the official paper of the Nationalist Party.

Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl is currently engaged in direct negotiations with the paper's editor and administrators with the view of hosting on this Sunday weekly a regular column prepared by Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl.
