COMMUNITY-BASED RECYCLING

 

Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl was one of the partners in a European Union EQUAL project on community-based recycling activities.

AIM & TASKS

The main aim of the project was to provide training for small scale recycling activities to people with social problems, recovering drug addicts, and former inmates.

Each partner provided contacts with people who can actively participate in the project.

OUTCOMES

The project was intended to have two main outcomes. First, the creation of a network of business training with a social aim.

Secondly, the provision of educaton and training for socially disadvantaged groups in society.
